I enjoyed the books’ descriptions of natural scenery, were they based on actual places? —Marge
Thank you, Marge. I did travel to Scotland and Wales, and also researched which species of trees and other plants are native to the books’ setting, but I found my basic inspiration hiking in the northern United States. —AML
